Pennies for Charity, New York Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo's report of telemarketing campaigns in New York,
helps New Yorkers make informed decisions before contributing to charity.
Now, through the Attorney General’s new Pennies for Charity database, New Yorkers may easily search the report to see how much of their contributions in response to telemarketers’ solicitations is actually retained by the charity. This database and the Pennies for Charity reports are based on financial reports filed with the Attorney General’s Office by professional fundraisers who conduct telemarketing campaigns.
